The Northern Rivers is full of other small, creative businesses doing fantastic work. We support our community where we can through collaborations, events, sponsorship and fundraising.

CHARITY.

We are proud platinum sponsors of the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary who provide care for injured wildlife and conduct world class research into ways to protect our Koala population from disease.

CULTURE.

We are proud sponsors of local cultural organisations including the annual Murwillumbah Arts Trail, Brisbane International Film Festival, the award winning Tweed Regional Gallery, the Tweed Museum, the Murwillumbah Arts Trail and other annual cultural events.

COMMUNITY.

Our local community is very important to us. We’re members of Destination Tweed, Northern Rivers Food and the Murwillumbah Business Chamber.

Husk is proud to sponsor our local sports teams the Murwillumbah Mustangs and the Tumbulgum Rangers, the Banora Tweed Rotary, and support the fundraising for our local schools.

We’re heavily involved with the Tumbulgum Community Association and released a commemorative ‘1866 Tumbulgum Rum’ to fundraise for the association and mark the 150th anniversary of our beautiful village on the Tweed River.

FUNDRAISE AT HUSK WITH A FARM STALL.

Husk Farm Distillery offers a free fundraising platform in the form of a Farm Stall Fundraiser on selected busy Saturdays each month. This opportunity is available to local non-profits & charities who align with our shared values of community, inclusiveness & respect for land & country. 

 To make things easy for you, we will provide 1 x trestle table, a white tablecloth and 2 chairs set up out the front of the distillery. You are welcome to bring your own table and we encourage you to bring along small flyers about your organisation. 

 Types of Farm Stall Fundraisers we recommend include: 

  • Bake Sale

  • Plant Sale

  • Flower Stall 

  • Produce Stall 

We have between 400-600 visitors to the distillery on most Saturdays. You can expect to raise between $600-$1500 depending on your offering. You keep 100% of your donations. 

 We recommend the stall is manned by 1 or 2 volunteers and set up from 12:30pm-5pm which is the busiest time at the distillery, although you are welcome to set up from open (11am) to close (6 or 7pm) if you prefer. We also recommend you provide card payments using a system like SQUARE, which is cheap & easy to use.
