Husk Rum Harvest Fest Cane growers competition Winners

On Sunday 2nd October 2022, we held the inaugural Husk Rum Harvest Fest which hosted the first Husk Cane Growers competition. We called upon local cane growers to submit their finest cane stalks to be judged on length, circumference, juice volume, brix and taste. Judges Paul Messenger (Husk Founder) and Quentin Brival (Head Distiller), were amazed to see such a great lineup of entries despite a difficult year for everyone.

We received both one and two year old entries and decided to split the prizes with 3rd and 4th prize going to the best two year old entries.
