Venue Name: The Henchman Miami

Taking its name from the avenue it sits on rather than anything sinister, The Henchman is a unique hideaway in Miami.

Their licensed outdoor cafe is dog friendly and open daily 7am until midday.

Their elusive bar boasts delicious cocktails, debatably the best cheeseburger ever tasted, candles, plants and a great soundtrack (and live music on weekends!).

The recently renovated upstairs area offers a free pool table and is available for functions and hire.

What do you love most about bartending?

Making cocktails is just like cooking food, finding flavours that work well and being inspired by food.

Watching people take a sip and smile come out, that's what i'm looking for. 

Hottest tip for young mixologists? 

A mixologist is a big word, a good "bartender" is someone who knows every classic cocktail like the back of his/hers hand.

Read books, study and make sure you know the basics.

Best advice I can give - it's frustrating walking into a venue, asking for a margarita and being asked what gin you prefer.
