Husk Botanic
Australian Botanical Cane Spirit
THE NEW TASTE OF AUSTRALIAN RUM
It’s launch day! Husk Botanic is finally here. Buy online now with free shipping code ‘FREESHIPBOTANIC’.
We dreamt up the idea for a botanical cane spirit many moons ago when making gin and rum in the little green shed. However it’s been a long time coming – like all our spirits, nothing is ever rushed. Head Distiller Quentin explains it best…
“Each glass of Botanic and tonic is the result of countless hours farming the cane, 1 year of growing, 4 days of harvesting and crushing, weeks of fermentation, more than 50 hours preparing botanicals, 9 days of distillation, months of resting and blending, and days of bottling. I’m not even counting the hours of work researching and sourcing the right botanicals, the 89 trial distillations and multiple tasting sessions to produce the perfect product.”
It’s our hope that Husk Botanic will show Australians how accessible, versatile, diverse and exciting the rum category can be. We encourage you to share the rum love with your friends and family, and join the rum revolution.
HUSK BOTANIC LAUNCH PARTY
To celebrate the release we’re throwing a little launch event at the distillery this Saturday 6th February. Tickets include a Botanic & tonic, a Botanic signature cocktail, Botanic inspired oysters (3), a tapas seafood platter, live music from Miss Renee Simone and really good vibes. Come along, get to know Botanic and pick up a bottle.
HOW TO GET YOUR BOT…
If you preordered a bottle it should be landing on your doorstep any moment now (if it hasn’t already been delivered).
If you’re local to Northern NSW or SE Queensland, visit your local bottle shop this week.
Because this is batch 1, if you’re further afield it will be difficult to track down Botanic in person. Order online and enter the code FREESHIPBOTANIC at checkout for free shipping.
You have your bottle. Now how to drink it?
Botanic has been designed to mix with tonic. Just splash 30ml over ice, top with a dry tonic and garnish with a grapefruit slice. It’s the prefect serve.
If you’re after a premium tonic to try, we recommend Capi, Fever-Tree or StrangeLove.
Botanic is also very versatile in cocktails. With the depth of flavour from its paddock-to-bottle rum base, and beautiful sweet botanical highlights, you can easily use Botanic in place of gin or rum in classic cocktails. Check out some recipes below.
We look forward to hearing what you think of Botanic. Chin chin.
