After launching Australia’s first agricole rum, Husk Distillers are inviting the best bartenders in our local area from Brisbane to Byron to challenge convention & change the way we perceive & drink rum in Australia.

 

THE CHALLENGE: Create a unique Ti Punch recipe that reflects our region, heritage & spirit, taking this traditional French Caribbean cocktail & giving it an Australian twist.

 

WIN THE ULTIMATE RUM EXPERIENCE 

The person crowned the 2017 Ti Punch Master will win the ultimate rum experience for themselves and 3 friends at Husk Distillers, Tumbulgum during the 2017 harvest in November.

  • 2 nights accommodation at Santai Resort in Casuarina
  • The unique opportunity to join the Husk Distillers team and participate in the sugar cane crush (day 1) and distillation (day 2), learning the basics about distilling and getting a behind the scenes look into the running of a craft distillery.
  • Take home a 9 litre oak barrel of the 2017 Vintage of Husk Rum, distilled in our new Scottish Forsyth still (the first to be imported into Australia).
  • Bottles from the Husk Distillers range, signed by the distiller & a prize pack of merchandise.
