Wednesday 2 November 2016 – 1866 Tumbulgum Rum Product Announcement
Husk Distillers are proud to announce the release of a limited edition rum to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the village of Tumbulgum, Northern NSW.

Monday 17th October 2016 – Construction begins on Husk Distillery 2.0
Earthworks are underway for the construction of Husk Distillers new distillery.
As we have quickly outgrown our pilot plant distillery, which was a simple converted farm shed, the new distillery will have a much higher production capacity and will be complete with a cellar door, bar and visitors centre. Husk Plantation Rum Distillery will be open to the public for tours and tastings, and we hope to throw open the doors in late 2017.
Thursday 8th September 2016 – Ink Gin wins Best Innovation in Spirits, 2016
Husk Distillers Ink Gin has been awarded Best Innovation in the spirits category at the Australian Drinks Awards, the country’s most prestigious drinks industry competition.
In a highly competitive category, Ink Gin was competing against some of the biggest global brands including Jack Daniels, Woodford Reserve, Bundaberg Rum and Suntory’s Yamazaki, Hakushu and Hibiki Whiskeys.
