Husk Distillers are proud to announce the release of a limited edition rum to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the village of Tumbulgum, Northern NSW.
1866 Tumbulgum Rum will be officially launched at Tumbulgum as part of the Tweed River Festival on November 12.
1866 Tumbulgum Rum is a blend of 3 year old paddock to bottle rum made from the inaugural 2013 harvest of the Founder’s Plot at Husk Plantation and aged in a combination of new American oak and ex Bourbon barrels.

The first bottle is being auctioned online with proceeds donated to the village
The first bottle of 1866 Tumbulgum Rum is to be auctioned online, with proceeds donated to the Tumbulgum Community Association to continue to improve and enrich village life.
This is the first and only Bottle 001 from a Husk Distillers release to be made publicly available. Bottles 001-010 of each aged rum release are normally held back for the cellar door collection.
The limited and unique nature of our rums mean all bottles are in high demand. The last barrel of our award winning Husk Rum sold out in 72 hours.
Bottle 001 of 1866 Tumbulgum Rum is sure to become a collector’s item.
The auction link for Bottle 001 can be found here and is now open for bids. The auction winner will be announced at the Tweed River Festival in Tumbulgum on the 12th November and notified personally by Paul, our founder and distiller, shortly thereafter.
